Jimmy Law is a senior associate of Eric Chow & Co. in association with Commerce and Finance Law Offices.
Jimmy’s practice focuses on corporate finance transactions including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, compliance matters of listed companies and general corporate matters.
Prior to rejoining Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices, Jimmy worked for the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council.

Capital Markets
- WAG Worldsec Corporate Finance Ltd. as sole sponsor on the US$200 million global offering and IPO of Ganglong China Property Group Limited (HKEx: 6968) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Ganglong China Property Group Limited is an established property developer in the Yangtze River Delta Region focusing the development of properties predominantly for residential use mixed with accompanying ancillary facilities. Huajin Securities (International), CRIC Securities and CMB International Capital were the joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners, and joint lead managers.
- Vinco Capital Limited as sole sponsor on the HK$60 million initial public offering of Vertical International Holdings Limited (HKEx: 8375) on the GEM Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The company is a manufacturer of chip type and radial lead type aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
- Vinco Capital Limited as sole sponsor on the HK$84 million initial public offering of GT Steel Construction Group Limited (HKEx:8402) on the GEM Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The company designs, supplies, fabricates and erect structural steelworks for the construction of buildings in Singapore.
- Space Group Holdings Limited (HKEx:2448), a Macau-based contractor providing fitting-out and building construction works, on its HK$266 million initial public offering on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
- Ample Capital Limited as sole sponsor on the transfer of listing of Xiangxing International Holding Limited (HKEx: 1732), an intra-port, logistic and automobile integrated services provider in connection with its transfer of listing from GEM to the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Merger and Acquisitions
- Hubei Port (Hong Kong) International Limited in the HK$1.98 billion acquisition of 74.81% of the total issued share capital of China Infrastructure & Logistics Group Ltd. (HKEx: 1719). The acquisition triggered an unconditional mandatory cash offer (the “General Offer”) under the Hong Kong Takeovers Code and it involved a HK$200 million financing arrangement.
- Ourgame International Holdings Limited (6899 HK), through its non-wholly owned subsidiary, Allied Esports Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: AESE), to sell its poker-related business, to Element Partners, LLC (the "Disposal"). The consideration of the Disposal amounted to US$105 million. The Disposal constitutes a very substantial disposal for the Company under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules.
